Truthfully, I never really considered how people would look at me based on the car I drive. I suppose it stands to reason, like what you wear.
Well let me tell you, people do treat you differently when you pull up in a Mercedes. I had no idea. Case in point – I’ve been buying supplies from this company for maybe three years. I pull up in the new car recently and for the very first time the manager carried my purchases out to the car! I had to chuckle! I get tons of compliments on the car…and it’s not high end either. It’s fascinating how our belief systems influence our thoughts. Wow, Mercedes – she must be doing really well, a highly sought after coach, very successful. Well true, but that doesn’t have anything to do with what I drive.
Those thoughts happen in an instant, at first glance, courtesy of our subconscious mind. We all do it, and we do it automatically, based on our belief systems. Tony Robbins calls them our BS. “It’s just your BS.” Then he looks around the room and people are like, say what? That’s a little rude, isn’t it? And he smiles and says, Belief Systems.” LOL! They can serve us or hold us back in our quest for success and happiness.
See you
